Frame Rate Hits with 737 Full Panel View

Featured Replies

I suddenly have frame rate hits (down to 5-6) in 2D in the 737 series only. When I use another view or cycle through "W" and don't have full panels, they go back up to the usual mid 20's. I have been doing a lot of tweaking trying for better rates but really the only significant change recently was un-installing FSX. No hits with 747 nor Level-D. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.Mark Kessinger

Mark,If you been doing a lot of tweaking it is almost impossible to say what could be the cause. You could try to rename your FS9.cfg file to something else, e.g. FS9.cfg.old, and let FS build a new one. Sometimes multiple DISPLAY entries in the config file could cause the sim to slow down. Check to see you have PanelAsTexture set to 0 and RenderToTexture = 1. Some small things I can think of off the top of my head. Hope it helps,
