Sweet!The very first large airliner I ever laid eyes on was in 1989 at Auckland International Airport, aged 8. Prior to that I hadn't seen an airplane bigger than a Fokker Friendship up close. It was a Continental DC-10 in this very scheme. I can remember to this day just being astonished at it's size and the metallic gold cheatline gleaming away in the sun. Awesome!Incidentally I think shot 3 shows the MD-11 to it's finest aesthetic effect. I love that profile!
