Hi guys,Last night I watched the ITVV Martinair Boeing MD11 video last night and I have to say I am very impressed with the Aircraft, the philosophy behind the instrumentation reminds me a lot of airbus. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get familiar with the aircraft before we get our hands on it.Going to have to get used to all the new terminology and the 'Lady' in the background talking to me. So all in all I am now looking forward to the learning curve and hopefully the years of flying the queen will help with the transistion :)Rob

Rob,my personal opinion is that she is actually much easier to handle system-wise than a FBW Airbus... I think the MD-11 has one of the best interface philosophies between human and machine and has in fact a higher degree of automation system-wise compared to Airbus.I'm sure you'll like this aeroplane and you will see that normal operation is very much straight forward.Of course this bird has its flaws... but hey if it hadn't it would get boring, right? ;)Markus
