Printed MD-11 manuals

Featured Replies

Robert and team,I've received the printed manuals a couple of days ago.I'm stunned by the amount of information which is put in the manuals. However I've got a few comments/questions.>On page 10.14 of aircraft general the picture shows the old style standby instruments. On the screenshots only the new style instrument is shown. Are the old style really modeled, because this would be great. And do we have the option to choose between the two different styles ol landing gear lights.>On page 50.3 of aircraft general, the picture shows that the lavatory service point is ate the nose section just before the nose gear bay. This is actual true for the freighters. However, for the passenger planes and the convertible freighters the point is places aft of the fuselage, just before the forward tail compartment door.>In the air chapter on page 30.1 the layout of the Air control panel is shown of the freighter only. Was the pax model forgotten? On the electrical control panel the differences between the freight model and the pax model are shown.>On page 30.5 of the engine chapter it shows the primary engine display of the GE engines in dial style. I kind of miss the P&W engines and the tape style.Despite my comments, these manuals really does show where the name PMDG comes from. You guys did a splendid job. Keep up the good work.Greetz,Ronald de Haan

So we deliver the MD-11 in its most modern state too.And no, only the more common gear lights style is used.Regards,Markus
