FMS computing delays and display on ND...

Hello all,this is just a small question i was asking myself the other night. You are fabulously simulating different computing times in different FMS-versions, however, when i apply a change to my flightplan, let

Holger,Computation delays have to do mainly with calculating T/C, T/D, constructing the vertical path, taking into account altitude and speed restrictions and estimating predictions.Lateral path changes are not affected from these factors. Even if you have entered no CRZ LVL and CI, in which case you have no predictions computed, you can still make changes to the lateral path and see them on the ND.
