Hi,concerning the MD11 FMS: 1)Is there something like a navigational info "library" stored in the FMS? What I mean:Lets assume that I would like to approach EDDT airport in Germany. I (for some reason) only know the RWY-in-use designator (e.g. 26R)...but not the corresponding ILS-freq which I would like to enter in the "ILS-freq" field at the NAV-page of the FMS:Is there now a way that the FMS tells me this ILS-frequency for ILS RWY 26R at EDDT somehow...?2) FMS inputs: I use the PC-keyboard input feature here which working really well. But only this "problem" appears:I oftenly have to enter values with the slash key "/" (Shift + 7)...e.g. the VOR freq/radial:When I now try to enter the "/" (Shift+7) between freq and radial via the keyboard that doesnt work...and I have to use the mouse (left click) again...Question: Is there a solution/way to enter the slash via the keyboard, too...and if so, how...? Susan:Yes, the MD-11 has a complete NavData package and I would suggest updating with each Airac every 28 days (navdata.com).The ILS will auto-tune within 25 miles.The slash works fine on my keyboard- perhaps its a keyboard specific issue- I'm guessing its that shift+7.May I suggest you read the manual? I know its fairly big, but this is a rather complex simulation.....Best-Carl F. Hmm...Shift+7 for slash really works as keyboard entry in the MCDU at your system...? Well, then I have to try to find another solution because the Shift key is assigned to other functions in FS or PMDG...e.g. Shift+7 will pop up the ND...I wonder why that doesnt happen at you...Thanks! :)
