And another thing

Stuart.Do you know how to edit the aircraft config file? If so, find the FedEx entry and look for the atc_airline= entry. The current line reads;atc_airline=FedExchange to;atc_airline=Fed ExPete

Hello PeteMany thanks for your response.I assumed I needed to find the cfg file relevant to the particular aircraft I am flying.Anyway I did a search for aircraft.cfg and found....... well loads (hundreds) but after a little bit of looking I found two for fed ex under the PMDG file location that contained the fedex entry you mentioned.Backed up the files, made the changes and the pilot and ATC now mention my aircraft

I also have other addon liveries installed and couldn't find any "atc_airline=" entries in the aircraft cfg file for the MD11 or MD11F under FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/...Brandon

Hello BrandonI have done some reading on this, the aircraft .cfg files that need "adjusting" will be part of the main installation within the FSX directory. It looks like (i) the entry for "atc_airline=" has to exist within the .cfg file (obvious I guess) and (ii) according to the sdk "bumf" the wording inserted against this entry HAS to match EXACTLY with what FSX expects to see.Hope this helps.RegardsStuart
