April 13, 200224 yr Get AFCAD.zip in the library. You can add gates and change the location of localizers! Greg
April 13, 200224 yr That looks like a great program, with a nice graphical user interface, particularly if you want to edit how AI traffic behaves at your airports. However, it says you cannot move nav aids, so I doubt you can fix individual localizers. However, if you are using third-party airports that are offset in their entirety, you can fix this (according to the documentation).Lee Hetherington (KBOS)[link:www.sls.lcs.mit.edu/ilh/fs/DFMS734.zip]B734 Dreamfleet/Microsoft Merge
April 14, 200224 yr Sounds OK, as long as those folks who think all offset localisers are mistakes when they are really like that don't go around changing everything they "think" is broken. Well of course they can but don't come crying here if some obstacle comes up to smack you on short final.
April 14, 200224 yr I understand. Just a way to align the many intentionally straight localizers, but that are off course.Greg
April 14, 200224 yr Many offset localizers in FS2002 are incorrectly "offset". FS2002 developers clearly often confuse 'offest' with 'displaced'. 15R at KBOS is a good example of how NOT to implement offset localizers in FS. If errors like this could be fixed it could be great.Michael J. Michael J.
April 15, 200224 yr hear! hear! Problem is who would have the time to check and fix all of them?[:-)]
