767 PIC Flight...29 pics..

Well, flaps 30 seems to be the most common SOP for the 767, while the 744 normally uses the 25 setting.MartinIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

FlytheSpitfire,THANKS!!!!!! Really excellent PIC's. Well Done!

HiEast River at DCA did somebody say!! WEW... tough, tough, tough.Although no 767's get to do it. Darn....Great PICS!!!Regards,

My statement regarding landing/takeoff flaps was in repsonse to this earlier post in the thread:"30 flaps is always used for landing, unless an abnormaility precludes extending them that far..."SOP's are airline specific, the statement "30 Flaps is always used..." is NOT correct for the 767-300er's in all cases which is implied here. Flap 15 t/o and 30 land may be the most common SOP, but it is NOT an "always" situation implying the aircraft must be operated in that manner. There are as many reasons to use flap 5 / 25 for t/o and land...Rob.

And flaps 5 for t/o and 30 for landing is a "normal" combination too. But, still, I would consider 30 the "normal" (i.e. most commonly used) flap config for the 767, while for e.g. the 747-400 flaps 25 is "normal" (but I'm sure some airlines use flaps 30 even on the 744).MartinIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
