May 9, 200224 yr Is it possible to have manual control of the heading while flying on Autopilot Mode?? I cant seem to find the way to switch off the Heading Select or heading Hold feature of the Autopilot....Thanks for the Help!!Javier
May 9, 200224 yr No, not possible. That's the way it is on the real aircraft too.Michael J. Michael J.
May 11, 200224 yr Something that Microsoft has been getting wrong in their aircraft autopilots since the dawn of time. In the real aircraft and in PIC if you want to use the autopilot you will need both a Pitch and Roll modes engaged, no exceptions.regardsAndrew

I was wondering what was annunciated on the EHSI for roll mode?Thanks.Cheers.Ian.
May 11, 200224 yr Seems like the 7.0 freeware version of the panel modelled CWS. It's been so long though, I can't recall.
May 12, 200224 yr G'day Ian,Truth is i don't fly anything other than a warrior (and I can't even do that without an instructor hehe) Only a year left of school then i'm ready to commit aviation. Taking a stab at the question I'm guessing that under the "pitch" area in the EHSI it would display "CWS" or something similar and again "CWS" under the roll area of the EHSI. Sorry I couldn't answer your question! :-)Best regards,Andrew (Sydney, Australia)
