767 PIC Patch question

Featured Replies

Hey everyoneI have a really quick question. I am about to purchase the PIC 767 , will I need to worry about downloading any patches? I am also running windows XP.Thanks for the help

There is only one patch to download....3.6mb I beleive. You can get it from www.wilcopub.comI assume you have FS2002 aswell?Piperpilot[br]767/757 Pilot-Wannabe[/b]

There's one patch if you're running Flight Simulator 2000, and a different patch if you're running Flight Simulator 2002. Just make sure to install the correct patch, and you'll be fine. You'll also want to install the latest Navdata available at http://www.navdata.at.Jon (KSEA)

Thanks everyone! The reason why I had a problem is that I read the Wilco Pub's website and it said do not patch FS2002 with the Version 1.1 patch , but I did not see any other patch besides the 1.1. Im currently running FS2002 so as soon as it arrives in the mail, I will get the current FS2002 patch and NAV data..Thanks for your help :)BTW: I went to go look for the latest NAV data and I cannot find the page to download the data. Can anyone help on me on this one? Thanks

Here is one.http://www.navdata.at/(sorry I see it was posted above) Looking for Jason's

You just need to go through the (free) registration on the page. You'll then see links for Navdata, Flight Plans, etc.Jon (KSEA)

One more question...I went to the NavData website and signed up..The question I have is if I download all the airports, airways, ect and install them, will that include any SID/STARS for any airports or do I have to download them from the SID/STARS page and install them? Im still trying to catch on with this NavData site and how it works. Thanks for you help!

I'd recommend you go ahead and download the Sid/Star file. At last count it had Sids and/or Stars for, I believe, 712 airports. You might also want to get the Free PIC Editor from flightassist.tripod.com/index.htm in case you want to edit or make new Sids/Stars. A hint, the Sid/Star file contains a huge amount of files. To keep FMC load times lower and use less disk space you might want to only unzip those airports in countries you want to fly in.RegardsTerry

Thanks Terry but I cannot find the file where I can download all the SID/STARS in one file. Can you please let me know what I have to do to get there. Thanks!
