August 9, 200223 yr Well the problem is as following ....I save my FlightPlan in Fs2002/flights/myflts (as it does automaticlly) and change the name to for examlpe "ESMSESSA"and when i then want to load it to FMC it doesnt work but i do as it says in the manuall Manuall..."Enter the name of your flightplann into the ScratchPad of CDU using the FMC keyboard and press 3R LSK"I've done exaclly that and nothing happens well look here at the pics
August 9, 200223 yr I have seen it before and i have saved it at FS2002Pilots and FS2002FMCWPFlightplans still no change :( :(
August 9, 200223 yr Once you click the 3R LSK, do you see any waypoints if you press tne Next Page button or Prev Page buttons?
August 10, 200223 yr okay....copy the flight plan to the Pilots directory and it should work...make sure it has a .PLN file extension.I'm looking at my FMCWP/NavData/FlightPlans directory and all the plans there have .rte extensions so I'm wondering if the file extension might be the problem....anyway try moving the file to the Pilots directory and see if it opens up there.
August 10, 200223 yr ohh man thanks for the help!It sure did work now!Once again Thank u very much u should get like 1290000 points for this! :-lol

August 12, 200223 yr I'm still confused. Do you save it with the rte extension or the pln extension? I moved a flight plan to the Pilots folder and to the nav folder with no luck yet using the .pln extension?thanks!
August 12, 200223 yr To be honest I must say that I hardly ever load a company route, because I often use new routes, or plug it in manually anyway. When I have saved company routes, I have usually saved them from within the FMC, so they have the .rte extension, which I have never had problems with.I just did some testing with the .pln files (created with the FS2002 flight planner), and apparently the same .pln file must be in both FS2002pilots and FS2002flightsmyflts to show up when selecting it as a company route. So you need to have TWO identical copies of the .pln for it to work. (And of course the file name must be no longer than 10 characters.)I'll stick with .rte files... :-)Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
