August 12, 200223 yr Well, I just tried saving a FS2002 to flight plan in the pilots folder and the FMCWP folder with no luck :-(Tried a flight from KJFK to KATL, saved it as kjfkkatl01.plnStill does nothing when I type kjfkkatl01 into the FMC??? Oh well.... ;-)

August 14, 200223 yr Hi SAS_340I think this has been a common problem for people flying PIC767 in FS2002.Bitter experience taught me that the only way the FMC would find the flightplan was if there was a copy in both the pilots folder and the flightplansmyflts folder. So long as there was a copy in both folders the FMC never failed to find it.I use FSNav to create my flightplans and, until recently, used to export the flightplan to both FS2000 and FS2002 to overcome the problem. Now, I've recently learnt a neater trick and have pointed FSNav's export ini file to PIC's FMCWPnavdataFlightPlans folder. So long as there's a flightplan in there, even though it has a pln extension and not PIC's own rte extension, the FMC finds it every time.Hope this helps,Paul Croft
