757 with PIC

Featured Replies

hi, I am using a PIC aircraft.cfg with the escape airlines .air in a 757 from iFDG. I am climbing from EDDF to EDDM and I have these readings:FL100: 3000 feet per minute 260 IAS N 1 = 69 %FL200: 4000 feet per minute (I tried this experience to see what could happen) 280 IAS N 1 = 76 % N 2 = 88 %FL240: from mach .65 to .78 it took 1 minute N 1 always less than 70 % FL240: N 1 = 65,5 % GS = 467 mach .78Take off page: V1 = 112 IAS Vr = 120 IAS V2 = 132 IAS Fuel loaded = 30 % in both left and right tanks 20 % in the middle tankDescend 2000 feet per minute and changing the speed after beginning the descend: I would expect a little increment of the speed in the beginning. It didnt happen and I didnt use speedbrakes. I have set 250 IAS coming from .78 and I got 300 IAS stabilized without speedbrakes. With the speedbrakes I got the 250 IAS that I set. Those values dont seem to be correct.Someone could explain me what happens?harpsi

I forgot the landing: 120 IAS during a lot of time and N 1 at 47 %! Strange but a very smooth landing at least! Those values dont seem to be normal!Waiting for help.harpsi

Shouldn't you address this question to the authors of this paricular .air file ?Most of us here use PIC in its pure form - no alien .air files.Michael J.

hmm, I have seen the question about 757 and pic panel, but until now, I dont see any answer about this topic thats why I ask. that answer was the easiest one of course :(in my last post I forgot to say that if i try to do 100 % trottle continuously the N 1 goes to 93 % and never more.hope to have an answer from somebody.harpsi

>that answer was the easiest one of course :( That was not the answer because I am not even sure what the question was *:-*If the air file is buggy as you suspect - tell the authors to fix it. Or if it doesn't get fixed stop using it. Not sure what else is here to do. MSFS world is full of half-baked air files.Michael J.

Author here ;-)Well, for starters I guess contacting me (or the other author) by e-mail would be a smarter idea than posting here (at least quicker). Secondly You haven
