November 7, 200223 yr Paul,Yes I do have that setting.Is there a different/better way to do it?Ian Elchitz CYWG
November 7, 200223 yr Personally I have that setting disabled, then if I do make a hash of it the aircraft stays in bits on the ground:-lol You can then use the Select Flight menu to choose which Autosave you want to restart from (I have mine set up to save 5, 10 mins apart).Hope this helpsPaul
November 7, 200223 yr OMFG :-grrYou mean to tell me that I do not need "Detect crash and reset" in order to simulate a crash? :-eekI had always assumed that leaving that off meant I never wanted to crash. In fact last night while taxiing to the gate in Toronto with ACA856 landing behind me I made a doofus mistake. About to make the 90 degree turn for the gate, I went full rudder and somehow managed to hit the toe brake for that side at the same time. The nose went up into the air a few feet - came crashing back down - and next thing I know I am 5nm out on the LOCALISER *:-*.OK - so just please confirm for me that "Detect crash and reset" is completely independent of the realism settings (ie if I crash - I want the sim to CRASH).Thanks,Ian Elchitz CYWG"You learn something new every day"
November 7, 200223 yr IanUmmm, it seems like you can't have Detect Crash... and Ignore crash both unchecked. There must be a way to stop it reseting itself because like you say its really annoying.Paul
