FMC questions~~

Featured Replies

hello everybody!!i use FS2002 flight planner to create flight plans, then i load it to my FMC, the airways shown on the ND is dotted line, and i can't engage the LNAV and VNAV after take off, what should i do to deal with? and in the page to setting up the take off performance, after i enter the flap 15 in the box, the Vspeeds didn't show up, but i set the ZFW and anything i should done, but i believe that i miss something, pls help me to answer these questions!! THANK U VERY MUCH~~

First, The FMC take u thrue the preflight in a logical order! BOZES means entrys that is requrired(sp?) and dashed lines in the FMC is optinal.See pic for Preflight work flow! Just remmember that the Route has to be activated and executed!! Hope this help!

Just out of curiosity--is the EXEC light lit up? If the route appears as a dotted line on the EADI (ND), and no V speeds have been calculated after all information has been entered, it sounds as if you need to execute the flight plan (by pressing the EXEC button on the FMC keypad).Good luck-tmwilky

actually i did press active key and the EXEC light shown after load my FS2002 flight plan, but FMC always appeared that pre brief is incomplete, but i entered anything which i should, like ZFW,reserve fuel, cruise alt and cost indix, after that i also entered take off flap "15", but just can't see any calculated Vspeeds~~ any possibility mistake which i made?? Thanks~~~

You also need to enter a runway.I suggest you read through the demonstartion flight shown in the 767 PIC FMC manual.

Bet I know what it is ;)On the takeoff page you MUST enter the runway condition. Either 'D' or 'W'. Forget this and V speeds will NOT appear.
