save flt plan wth FS2002

i need some help with saving a flt plan for PIC 767 using fs2002. omce i have set my route out using flight planner do i save it to "my flts" folder? then what do i do on the FMC? also , for example- i have planned a trip from ottawa to toronto- as CYYZ will be the last entry in the FMC do i then use the dep/arr key to select a runway to have the plane do an automatic landing??

Yes, the abopve question has been addressed but as we all know it is sometimes hard to find the answers...When installing PIC into FS2K2, PIC creates an FMCWP/Navdata/flightplans folder which contains some default flight plans with a .rte ending. FS2K2 saves your flight plans into the flights/myflights folder under a .pln ending. To save a plan made in flight planner, you must manually copy and paste your plan from the .../myflights folder to the .../FMCWP/navdata/flightplans folder and your VNAV button on the AP will now lock on to the plan and or GPS.You DO NOT have to change the ending to .rte! Keep it as .pln just as with FS2K2. I found that you can do this while FS is running and it works fine so I hope this helps someone.Regards,
