September 8, 200223 yr Matthias,The discussion was about a TRIMsheet, so you might be confused.Anyhow, the site where to download the trimsheet is down as you might have discovered when trying the link I gave.If you give me your e-mail addres I'll mail it to you.(be quick, I'm leavig in an hour or so for 2 days). You also might want to try a fuelplanner by Rob van Leest. The sheets also deal with weight.http://home01.wxs.nl/~robvanleest/main.htm (and this links works)Kind regards,Stephan Haas
September 20, 200223 yr I have to reply to this. Why do you not like answering posts that ask questions that are already answered in the forums? I assume it is because of one or all of these things:a) It wastes peoples time to answer more than once:( It wastes AVSIM space and bandwidthor maybe c) with your obvious expertise in what has been discussed every day on this forum for the last 2 years, it makes you feel powerful to plonk someone with that response, with no regard whatsoever to how you should approach other people on this planet. (politely, in my book)If the answer was a or b, I have to say this.If you had just answered him once instead of being disrespectful to a stranger, the thread would have been OVER. No more posts would have come out flaming or applauding your answer, either. If NOBODY had answered him, maybe he would have found the search icon. You could even say it's in the forums or the manual, nicely, and suggest maybe they could try there next time. End of discussion. Everyone happy, no bad reflection on PIC team due to other people having power trips. No wasted bandwidth on a big flame thread.Just my 2 cents.KINDEST most FLUFFY regards to all.J.

September 22, 200223 yr >a) It wastes peoples time to answer more than once...that maybe true - but only if they:a) bother to reply twice, and:( consider it a waste of time to do so If a & b = true, then who's the idiot?(edit: I am of course agreeing 100% with you proudwings)Paul http://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/Fortress.gifVoted Best Virtual Airline of 2002 and Best CEO of 2002 by participants in the BIG VA Vote organized by FSPILOT.comVANF "Best" New Virtual Airline AwardOfficially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logohttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/saint_georgex1.gif
September 23, 200223 yr OMG and HELLO~~~I would like to say thank you to everybody who replied me in this topic, and i also want to say sorry to everybody who get angry in this topic!Personally, i think we are all the same...i mean the same interest, otherwise we won't meet in this forum.....BUT the other important point is: when we answer a question once, this means there're just a few ppl know the topic, so there're still so many ppl who didn't see this topic which already been answered, AND there're so many ppl who don't know how to use or even know the existence of the search function, just like me at the first. I really think if some ppl who needs the answer or they don't know the search function deserved our help, and we really DON'T have the right to expect them to read the manual first, because i think the Wilco's manual is clear but is NOT easy for some beginners because of the lack of picture and clear paragraph for them to search their needs quickly, personally i think its an essay not a manual!!if they need quick answer, we really can spent a little time or ignore it, its your choise. I reather choose to give them an answer and tell them the search function is so useful. Finally, help ppl by spend a little time is really greater than spend time to censure them and expect them to study hard first! Anyone agreed with me? ;)
September 23, 200223 yr Wether I was right with my initial reaction or not, I'll leave it to others to judge. As far as I'm concerned, no hard feelings.Your last mail however triggered me to some thoughts.Yes, the manual is a big one, BUT, it is clearly written. You would not do the makers of PIC honor if you fly this machine without reading (studying) the manual. Framerate wise you would be better off with some other panels, but you would miss out of all the good stuff.BTW, I'm not sure about what manual you're talking: mine is full of pictures (almost one on every two pages). Indexwise it could be better, that I must give you.I'm willing to help people, but I'd like to see some self action as well. How do you think the real pilots get their position at the bussiness end of the aircraft?Enough said, back to the fun.Kind regards,Stephan Haas
