September 9, 200223 yr Received my GoFlight GF166A VRP today, just got done installing it.It took about 5 minutes, I've got it working as a nav and course selector. Works almost perfect, the only drawback being not able to switch between manual and auto mode on the GF panel. It's a blast turning a knob when tuning a frequency or course. It also switches frequencies automatically when auto mode is selected on the PIC panel. A bit pricy, it's 50 Euros cheaper in the US but still recommended. The front panel can easily be removed to give it that nice Boeing brown paint job. With a minimum amout of skill with a soldering iron one could remove the rotary, microswitches and led's from the ic board and fabricate a much smaller front plate.
