September 18, 200223 yr Since this has slipped to the second page, I thought I might through in my 2 cents worth and get it back into view. Anything I can do to contribute will be time well spent. How about me doing some of the FMC input items and a "how to" on changing ZFW and saving the changes so multiple varitions appear on the aircraft menu? For the FMC entry, I could start with Route programming and trouble shooting on the "RTE page 2" and follow up with using the "FIX pages".The FAQ would need to be open ended so it could continually be appended. I agree that this should be anchored at the top of the forum and then shown as a link to a hosting website. Lets get organized by the end of September as I should have some time to work on my pieces of this during the month of October.ORGANIZATION thoughts"It would be nice if the FAQ were organized into specific categories. This would help with keeping track of who is working on what during developement as well. My first thoughts are:OVERHEAD PANEL Start-up/shut-down procedures, anti-ice, fuel cross feeds, IRS alignment, yaw damper, etc.FMC Route programming, legs page, fix page, tricks/tips, etc. etc.PEDISTAL Trim settings, radio controls, adding the 777 audio gauge, etc.MAIN PANEL Toggle flight director options, standby instraments, speed bugs, etc.AIRCRAFT MODEL Closing the APU inlet, rudder/elevator spikes, etc.AIRCRAFT CONFIG Changing ZFW, merge files(a la Lee H.), adjusting rudder sensitivity, etc.MULTIPLE MONITORS and MULTIPLE VIEWS A Steve Drabek how to.FAILURES Basic answersMISC QUESTIONS The stuff I forgot about aboveSomeone needs to take the lead on this, obviously, so we know exactly who is doing what, whoooo will volunteer?
