October 2, 200223 yr I AM HAVING PROBLEMS USING MY MICROSOFT SIDEWINDER F/B 2 JOYSTICK TO CONTROL PIC 767 ELEVATOR AND RUDDER. ALL OTHER AIRCRAFTS (PSS 747 A320/321/319, FS2002 A/C)ON MY FS2002 ARE OPERATING SATISFACTORY. ON THE PIC 767 EICAS DISPLAY PANEL I CAN SEE ELEVATOR MOVING WITHOUT TOUCHING OR MOVING THE JOYSTICK. WHEN TRYING TO TAXI THE AIRCRAFT KEEPS GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES. I HAVE UN/REINSTALLED THE PIC 767 + THE PATCH. I HAVE UN/REINSTALLED JOYSTICK DRIVERS. I HAVE REINSTALLED THE FSUIPC BUT THE PROBLEM STIL REMAINED.I HAVE USED PIC 767 SINCE IT WAS RELEASED AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEHAVE LIKE THIS BEFORE. PLEASE HELP.
October 2, 200223 yr Commercial Member Your use of caps makes your post very difficult to read - I wonder why that is? ;)Anyway, sounds to me you are getting "spikes" sent to your joystick. That used to happen to me as well and I'm using the CH yoke & pedals. FSUIPC allows you to program a NULL zone to get rid of the "spikes". Sort of a QUIET ZONE, that you can manually program. Try it, to see if it works. Check the FSUIPC menu from FS, and go to joystick... and calibrate from FSUIPC.Hope that's clear enough for you. AND LAY OFF THOSE CAPS WILL YA? :(DSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
October 6, 200223 yr The latest version of FSUIPC has check boxes under the technical section to kill rudder, aileron and elevator spikes. Solved all the problems I was having and makes the latest patch for interfacing with hardware (747MCP) behave.RG
