August 9, 200223 yr Hey guys I have been around flightsim for quite a long time, and I usually am not left in the dark about stuff, but what exactly is splash screens? I take it they are new whatever they are.EDIT: I probably know what they are, just not that they are called that.
August 9, 200223 yr A splash screen is the screen that you see when you first double-click the FS2002 icon. You see the image whilst FS2002 loads on your computer.Simple really :D.

August 10, 200223 yr By way of an explanation, I am inclined to disagree with some of the comments made in this forum with respect to splash screens.I am creating a series of splash screens for the community in order to give something back by way of thanks to the freeware designers who have, over the years, allowed me to gain great pleasure from their work.
