Keyboard assignments / Patch 12to 13

I have customized some of the keyboard assignments for the 767PIC, namely the HDG, Speed, V/S and ALT. The purpose is to reduce my use of the mouse and hopefully reduce some of the RSI injuries I am getting thanks to FS.The problem is that the changes are very fast when holding down the key and invariably it does not work well.Does anyone have a fix? Is there an advantage to installing the Patch12to13.Mark.
