October 7, 200223 yr Hi,I am trying to contact the University of Temecula Press, who publish Mike Ray's Simulator Checkride manuals, via email, but am asked to enter a password for authentication! Does anyone know how I can obtain this? I also tried to contact the webmaster specified on the contact page, but was faced with the same request.Additionally/alternatively, does anyone know the shipping costs to Europe for one manual(I am in Ireland), and approximately how long the trip takes(:-))?Thanks,Frank
October 7, 200223 yr Hi FrankNo idea about the e-mail/password problem. Seems like it could be a problem with your mail server as for me, [email protected] works perfectly.I live in Switzerland and have ordered Mike Rays's manual in August. Delivery time was about a week, delivery cost was about 8$ if I remember correctly. But you might want to check if there are any local taxes or VAT to be added for Ireland.Frank, as long as it is not as much as the book price, shipping cost really is irrelevant for this book. I really reccomend it to everybody interested in 767 operations. Well worth the money!Best regardsStephan
October 7, 200223 yr Hi Stephan,Thanks very much for the information. I'm not overly concerned about shipping cost, but I always like to know how much I'm gonna be owing on my credit card :-). I should admit(sheepish grin!) that it is the 737 manual I am after! I asked here because everyone on this forum seems to love the 767 book.Best wishes,Frank
October 7, 200223 yr Hi Frank,You can also order that (great) book at The Luchtvaarthobby Shop in The Netherlands. It's closer to Ireland I would say... I just checked their on-line shop and it's available.http://www.lhshop.nl/Regards,KiekEHAMhomepage: http://home.planet.nl/~nwkaan/
October 8, 200223 yr Thanks very much for the link, Kiek!It certainly is a great deal nearer. Only problem is that the books seem quite expensive :-(? For example, the 737 Simulator Checkride Guide costs
