Hovering aircraft above airport ??
That, on the ground, I have seen too sometimes. It is caused by wrong RT data, I stil have to find an "heuristic" to catch such a pilot ;-)

Disappearing aircraft at SFO
Switch off user air collision check.

Disappearing aircraft at SFO
This is probably caused by user air collision check. On final, below 500 ft AGL, it checks -also- if there are aircraft on the ground in front of you, at the runway. Maybe the width within it checks is too big. Will check that .... However, it is good to try this again without user air checked, to see if I'm right. Nico

Hovering aircraft above airport ??
Let us wait for more people to report this.

No Arrivals at ATL
Hi guys, Maybe your radius was too small (for example, less than 6 nm). In one of the more recent PSXT updates, I only spawn airborne aircraft if they are flying above 1,000 ft AGL. This is too have time for the landing gear down operation... Nico

No aircraft moving on the ground
Yes that's well known, some airport have no good ground coverage. You can check my archive lists. If an airport has a low real Qf ther is probably not much ground traffic.

Hovering aircraft above airport ??
Lots of strange things seem to happen at your PC... Are you sure you have switched off all other AI traffic sources?

No aircraft moving on the ground
>However, since version 1.5.6.1, no airplanes have been taxing to the runway anymore. That's nonsense... sorry. At EHAM and KATL everything was fine yesterday. You only can talk about what you see. This has nothing to do with version 15.6.1 or whatever. That part of the code has not changed at least for years. It all depends on whether you receive data from RT. If using the RT App, make sure you have set in the RT app, in standard settings, PSXT (MSFS and P3D) , and not Spotter mode.

Hovering aircraft above airport ??
Did it behave like a helicopter? Do you see it at the RT app radar screen?

No aircraft moving on the ground
Then maybe the real live aircraft move without their transponder on? SOP?

No Arrivals at ATL
I opened Flight Aware and sure enough there were a few arrivals stacked on both sides yet I didn't see any of them. Flight aware is not the source for PSXT. I was at KATL yesterday and it was full of traffic.

Aircraft positions not sync'd between networked pc's
PLease pay attention to the manaul section 2.3 Using more computers running MSFS+PSXT at the same time [RTApp only] If you want to run a setup with different computers each running MSFS, generating part of the Simulator screen, do the following: Install PSXT on all PCs. At one PC set “hidden parameters PSX_SERVER_HERE=True and on all the others set PSX_SERVER_HERE=False. Install the RealTraffic app at one PC, which one does not matter. Make sure each simulator has the same liveries and add-on airports. Important: In this setup you must switch Random off in all PSXT instances otherwise each PSXT may (and will) react (randomly) different in choosing a livery or choosing a static parked aircraft location.

Combining RT Parked Traffic and Auto Park?
I think Robert is talking about static parking only.

Combining RT Parked Traffic and Auto Park?
Yes, probably with what you have done before editing the park_airport.xml Change the radius of the stand to what it is in reality?

Combining RT Parked Traffic and Auto Park?
Hi guys, With the Auto Park function enabled, PSXT starts with a Max Fit value of 0, then increases it to 0.5, and so on. At each iteration, it first searches in RT Parked, and then in the airport file. However, once the requested number of aircraft has been reached, the search stops. As a result, some RT Parked aircraft with a higher (worse) fit value may not be taken into account because they are considered less relevant. Remember that RT Parked can also contain aircraft parked for 6, 10, or even 47 half-hour periods. That is why, if you look closely, you may notice that the static fit is sometimes lower (better) than when using RT Parked only. There may still be a bug in my code, and I will check that, but this behaviour is intentional. In fact, the same thing happens if you have Auto Park disabled and set Max Fit to 1.0. In that case, you may also miss some RT Parked aircraft. I need to describe this behaviour more clearly in the manual, so that my AI Tutor can explain it properly too. :-) Nico EDIT: If you want to compare both settings, try starting PSXT, do not change any parameters, and then press Park. That will give you the most reliable comparison.

Permanently edit radius of parking stands?
Hi Robert, Maybe my fantastic Tutor forgot to read section 8.2 of my Manual ;-) "You can correct this by editing the stand data. If your changes resolve the issue, you are encouraged to send the updated park_airport.xml file to [email protected] so it can replace the version currently stored in the archive." Then you only have to do these edits again if a new airport addon version is released. There is really no need to create a handmade file, that would be the more difficult way out. Kind regards, Nico PS I'll talk to my Tutor about this later...

Well over here all looks (beautiful normal) at that time and day: See this screeen picture

FSLTL Traffic Injector updated, now with realtraffic
Please delete this post, mistake.

PSXT during session start
I tried KLAX but it is difficult to reproduce. I test (without static aircraft) with Little Nav Map but everything is moving. Could you give me a UTC time and date when you see this?

Hovering aircraft above airport ??
Most likely a RT problem. Will put some code in the next verson to detect and remove these "strange animals" ;-)

"RT parking only"
>Only small portion of RT planes is shown, Are you sure you miss RT parked? Do you see more in the Radar screen? If so it might be caused by lat/lons that do not match with stands in your airport file. You can check that in log.txt. I will look into that when I am home from vacation. >if this option is selected that results in departing AI simply popping on a taxiway instead of pushing out from gates. That has really nothing to do with RT parked traffic. RT parked is about static parked, not live parked

Navigraph and Flightradar24 Partnership
In PSXT you can 'block' an aircraft, so it disappears, then you can take its place in the sequence

Navigraph and Flightradar24 Partnership
I assume that I would not see dumb take offs or landings on the wrong runway (or the wrong end of a runway) with PSXT? No you would not, because they represent their real live counterparts with a delay of 30 seconds.
