Hello everyone..I need a little help..Ok, using Fsnavigator, I create a flight plan then exported in fs2002 format.. Then I used FSBUILD and converted into 767 PIC .rte.Ok, Here is the situation...I created a flight from KORD to KDET. Just a short flight..Now, The problem iam having is, I can never seem to loc on the iLS.for instance, I tried to land on runway 15. And I did everything right, but I can never loc on the ILS. Seems to me, The plane is always approaching the runway from the side. It's hard to explain the problem, But So far I can never loc on the ils and setup for an autoland. I tried hiting the GO around button, And try again and it seems I always coming on the left side of the runway.. Iam new at this, AAnd just figured out how to use the FMC. Now iam trying to land the plane.. I tried long flights & short flights, But havnt been able to autoland yet.. Never can LOC on the ILS.. Please help me..- Eggy

Hi EggyThere are so many possibilities what could have been wrong with your flight. You should ask a little more exact where the porblem was.Ils correctly tuned? RW selected on the DEPARR Page of FMC? FMC Setup complete? etc. Take the manual once again maybe and do a lot of reading concerning this Plane. Then it gets fun! Cause normaly the PIC is THE Plane that catches ILS signal much better than any other in FS

Eggy,With such complex tool as the PIC it is better to simplify your problem. Eliminate elements you don't need or otherwise you will have too many things to chew. If the problem you are trying to solve is catching ILS then you do NOT need FSNavigator or building any flight plans or using FMC. Throw all this out. Pick some nice big airport with ILS single runway (say KOAK rwy 29) and start flying around trying to intercept the localizer. I am not sure if it was you but I replied already to someone else in a similar spirit - to operate the MCP panel, autoland, etc. you do not need FMS, flight planning, etc. Michael J.
