November 4, 200223 yr Hi guys,I'd really like you to give me the name, of what you think, is the most challenging SID and STAR the 767 can fly, (then I can try flying it.) Personally I think the most challenging approach is Maderia and the most challenging SID is a visual one from Innsbruck. Please post belowMany Thanks,
November 4, 200223 yr There is one certain airport in the Philippines called Sibulan Airport in Dumaguete. Similar to Kai Tak, you 'hug' the mountain until you turn for finals. And your 'adventure' doesn't end there, you have to put her down safely on a 1710m runway - there's no such thing as a greaser in Dumaguete. Oh, and Dumaguete doesn't have an ILS, guide in lights (like Kai Tak) or even a PAPI. And I think this was one of those airports where you have to watch out for the occassional cow on the runway? :)The thing is, B767's don't fly there for real, as the weight of the aircraft will ruin the runway, but it's doable in FS..cheers!http://www.mydestiny.net/~michael8/genavbanner.gifOh btw, this may be a bit O/T, but does anyone know of any good scenery for Boston Logan? Any scenery in the making?
November 4, 200223 yr Hi MichaelFound a Logan scenery on www.flightsim.com called loganb3.zipLooked pretty good the few times I've used it but it's pretty rough on the fps'Regards Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 4, 200223 yr Try TIVAT [LYTV]in Yugoslavia, its a good challange for approach eather rwy32 or rwy 14. I heard planes T/O and land only duting daylight in real NO ILS at all plus plenty off mountains on both sides during approach
November 5, 200223 yr thankies sir! say, how heavy is it on the frames? :) comparable to the SNA scenery? (that was an absolute disaster for me!)http://www.mydestiny.net/~michael8/genavbanner.gif
November 5, 200223 yr Well... If I put it this way.Specs:800MHz/384MbgeForce3 Ti200 128MbSettings:Sliders at around medium ;-)No shadows on buildings nor a/cA/C:PIC/POSKY AC767-300With the loganb3 I get a mere 7 to 8 fps on the outside view. As with the default I get 12-15 fps. I have 25 as target framerate and that's what I get on loft.I hope I gave you some hint on what to expect... :-)(Gosh, I really have to upgrade... lol) Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 6, 200223 yr A32X,Why don't you try having a look at http://www.dangerous-airports.com/?It's got loads of different collections of dangerous arrivals & departures, though many won't be suitable for a 767Jonathan
