December 8, 200223 yr I normally select the destination runway after ATC adivises which runway to land on. Is this wrong? Should I be setting before departure? Thanks.. This may be my problem...
December 8, 200223 yr Setting DEST runway before departure? Well I don't. It wouldn't do much good because the whether will probably change and you'll probably be told to land on another runway, unless your destination has only one runway.
December 8, 200223 yr Yep don't set destination Runway up when departing! You will have no idea what the conditions are BEFORE you get there and atc will tell you that info THEN SET IT. If you are flying on vatsim that is. You can PLAN on a certain one but always be ready for an alternate.Randy Randy J Smith
