January 3, 200323 yr please can someone help.. I know what airac cycles are (NavUpdates) but how do i install them into FS2000 and FS2002. I run 767pic on fs2000 and sometimes I am told to hold over a way point that is not in the fmc, will these airac uploades fix this problem ? Incidently has anyone bought A320 pic yet ?? Is it as good as the 767
January 3, 200323 yr Hi Trigger,The AIRAC updates use the latest real world waypoint info, and the controllers should also have this same info, so updating the AIRAC should fix the problem.Hope that helpsHenry :-wave http://www.aitraffic.net/henry/jpsigv3.jpg30 DEC AI Statistics: 22,929 Airports | 321 Aircraft | 6103 FlightPlans | Total of 138,440 flights:-wave :D :-wave NO DEFAULT AIRCRAFT OR FLIGHTPLANS USED :-wave :D :-wave:D Flightplans.txt size: 5.19mb :D
January 8, 200323 yr Come on guys !!!! Some one out there must know how to install airac, nav updates. Incidently Wilco say A320 pic, might be released in 8 to 10 weeks...
January 8, 200323 yr The Navdata updates are saved to the FS2002FMCWPNavData folder and are comprised of six files:Airports.datfmc_ident.txtwpNavAid.txtwpNavApt.txtwpNavFix.txtwpNavRTE.txt Please back up your data in the event you want to restore the original files.Where did you get the Navdata (AIRAC) files from? If you downloaded them from www.navdata.at the 767 PIC Navdata comes in an executable file that automatically detects your FS2000/2 location and installs itself correctly.
January 8, 200323 yr thats great, now I am getting somewhere !!! I have tried to download the latest airac cycles from navdata for the 767 but every time i try to unzip them it says the file does not have a valid archive !! I have just got the update from the Wilco down load page and that seems to work !! althought this is only Feb 2002

January 9, 200323 yr I had this problem a few weeks ago but just tried to download some hours later without any difficulty. It may have been a server problem.
January 9, 200323 yr Have just managed to download the airac cycle from your site that you posted (NavData).. and Whey it worked !! Maybe now I can hold around a waypoint instead of flying around aimlessly.. Thanks again Workingstiff and 737767 , Matt BAW472:-)
