I'm getting Low oil pressure warnings when I am in flight. The L and R eng lights located right above the autobrake illuminate. I can't seem to find anything in the manual that even talks about those lights, or even how to rectify the problem. Please help.Thanks.

I'd be interested in how this could be fixed as well. I have had the same problem on occasion. Not sure what causes it either. Sometimes they operate like they are supposed too, & sometimes they remain illuminated regardless. On the EICAS the oil press. is cleary in the green. The only way I can fix this myself is restart FS all toghether.

I had that problem once quite some time ago. What happened was the oil temp was too low and that caused the oil pressure warning lights to light up. It only happened in cold climates and at high altitudes. I was using a different FDE and I believe that was what caused the error.Regards,Van L

Oil in a running jet engine I'm sure gets quite hot. Regardless of the OAT or altitude I would think the oil will remain quite hot in a turbine going close to full throttle.Bummer, seems about 40 people have looked at this thread. No other suggestions? :)

Are you using a different .air file? It happens quite frequently with non-PIC FDEs. To get all the implemented panel functions to work properly, you have to use the PIC airfile. Third-party FDEs will lack sections that the panel is looking for. This is no fault of the FDE designers, as they're designing their planes for use with a variety of panels, so they'll have to use default FS parameters (which PIC doesn't use). To see what I mean, try using one of the PIC aircraft with a default panel - you'll get some seriously funky results...Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg

I'm using the PIC FDE and have this problem on occasion. No ideas as to a solution thought.Jeff

It's a known bug in the PIC flight dynamics (not the panel). There is no known 'cure' at this time.J

Thanks JASE, I don't feel overly stupid now about the Oil Press lights. I have experienced the oil lights as well as autothrottle failure on takeoff many times since FS2002, The remedy which seems to work for me 100% of the time is to start MSFS with the 767 cold and dark situation at KSFO. Position your self to where you want to be after starting that situatin and I have not experienced the oil press or a/t issues since.I am running with the "Lee H." -300 POSKY merge.Must be something with the values of the global variable pool at startup between MSFS and PIC. Goodness only knows.Hope this helps!
