January 19, 200323 yr Hi, this is my first successful work on the 767PIC after an hour of tweaking and coffee and i wish to share it with all who need it here. Its basically a taxi light addon so you can taxi with taxi lights not landing ligts :) I know the switch is not in the correct position as opposed to 767s in real life, but i personally feel thats the only place a switch can smoothly blend into the panel, since I do not know not to make an invisible gauge i had to make a visible one and the result is this.Anyway Randy, this mod is not intended to compete with your excellent VFR views, I know your panel has taxi lights, but I couldnt find a link so I made mine. I hope you don't mind :) Do tell me if you mind, ok?Any suggestions n comments are welcome...To download right click on the bottom-most link and save as a .zip file. Uh, my first time uploading...oops :D
January 19, 200323 yr Hey more power to you. I did not make the taxi light in my panel and thanks to Mike B and Mark M I have it in the package.Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing" Randy J Smith
January 21, 200323 yr Your modification is much needed, but the links only download the jpg files - not the zip. Appreciate if you email it to me at [email protected]. ThanksRoy

February 4, 200323 yr Hi Guys,Just a quick question, I have uploaded this mod and think it is excellent, but my Phil Geddes Landing views have disappeared. Is there any way to merge the two panels so I can get the best of bothe worlds.Cheers,Chris WillisBAW976www.bavirtual.co.uk
February 5, 200323 yr Yes I think I can arrange that for you Chris. Are you useing my latest VFR panel version 1.1? If so, I will modify the panel CFG for you. Give me a mail so I will have your correct email. Best Wishes,Randy J. February 5, 200323 yr Randy,Did you get any other emails regarding the light problem I was experiencing with the new VFR-panel ? I was just wondering... :)rgdsTero PPL(A)
February 5, 200323 yr No Tero, that version is not in use anymore. This one is differn't and impossible to use with Phil's panel or my old version in a forward view {lights and rain showing}correctly. The MCP gauge was the problem so I removed it from the panel package. If you want to check it out let me know and sorry I could not make the older one work for you. Now you can still use the older panels on their current position on the the rear_view with this new panel if you desire.Best Wishes,Randy J. February 5, 200323 yr Excuse me for being a bit thick here, but I cannot get your switch to show up in my PIC 767 Panel.Yes I am using the original Wilco Publishing PIC767.I am unzipping and putting the panel.cfg and B767Wupper.bmp into my panel folder (C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002aircraft767 PIC Wilco PublishingPanel) I have renamed the originals. Now this is the bit I am sure I am getting wrong, but it doesn
February 5, 200323 yr It's quite simple really:The .cab file shouldn't be extracted, just placed inside the gauges directory.
February 5, 200323 yr I did wonder that when it said place cab file in guages, but as it looked like a zipped file, I thought it needed to be unzipped first!Silly me!Thanks for the replyGraham
