You can always try the project magenta free TCAS dispaly. Has nice anti aliasing makes it look real!:>Cheers[br]obklogo.gif[/img]

I'm working on an integrated VSI/TCAS for PIC and have recently been making great progress. Here is an undoctored screen shot of it in action (at 1600x1280 resolution):http://www.sls.lcs.mit.edu/ilh/767pic/vsi-1600.gifI am currently working on the TCAS TA logic and display. I will release it first with TA, and later add RA to the VSI scale to it as well. I finally have a pretty good handle on all the issues. The gauge does its own antialiasing to minimize jaggy lines, but this does not seem to have much effect on frame rates.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Wow! :-eek That's simply stunning. Do you need any beta testers? ;-)

Hey Lee,I thought you gave it up with the TCAS gauge because there was nothing to read last weeks about it!!I am so glad you still stick with it!!Thank you.Can

Great looking TCAS/IVSI Lee! Glad wee have people like you in this sector of simulation :)Cheers[br]obklogo.gif[/img]

Just to clear it up for George...on a real 767 the TCAS display is not on the PFD. There is either a display on the center pedestal just forward of the throttles, or it is integrated into the VSI, just like Lee's wonderful example.Ryan Hoffman

On certain models the TCAS display is integrated into the EHSI. The last time I checked Air Canada had 16 of their Boeing 767 equipped in this configuation. (Fin: 631-636, 647-652, 654, 656-661)

*Some* 767s do actually have the TCAS integrated on the ND.

Posted at the same time.

Ryan, the info you sent me makes it sound like that RAs can be displayed on the EADI as well to direct pitch.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

Lee...take time out from this wonderful project to join us friday night down under...hope to see you there.Rob.
