question for IZ regarding ZFW for 757

Featured Replies

Iz I just wanted to know if the empty weight in the aircraft.cfg file of slightly more than 127,000 is the operating empty weight or is a realistic ZFW for the 757 because if it is the ZFW is this not rather light?

I'm not Iz but I can tell you this...The aircraft configuration file with Iz's 757 has an OEW of 127,800lbs. It also adds a load of 31,200lbs to give you a ZFW of 159,000lbs. The max ZFW is 184,117 lbs and max landing weight of 198,450lbs.31,200lbs seems like a typical load...say 140 pax and about 6000lbs cargo/bags or variations thereof.Rob.
