IFDG/PIC Merge Airfile?

Featured Replies

Hi Randy, IZ and all others!Today I installed the V2 IFDG RR Transavia an began to merge (electrical section) as suggested by Randy. But what about the airfile?? Leave the IFDG or change again to the wilco one? What do you suggest. IZ, is your airfile fully compatible with the PIC panel?

Well that really depends on what you want.If you use PIC's airfile, you'll get an aircraft that looks like a 757 but handles like a 757. If you take Iz's airfile you'll get the best 757 there is currently out there ;-)Iz's airfile was developed to be compatible with the PIC panel. The only thing that will be off are the FMS calculations.Try out the new 757 - you won't regret it!Regards,Mark

Yes you will want to leave the iFDG airfile alone. That's why I did not mention doing anything to it. It will be differn't than PIC.Best Wishes,Randy J.
