February 27, 200323 yr Hi, Darren. From what I know in fs2002 it is impossible to overfly the North Pole.Bye,Bjorn
February 27, 200323 yr G'day BjornDon't have to go right over a close flyby is good enough.I remember doing a run from EHAM to PANC and the great visuals in the sim.Looked fantastic at about 70deg's Nth IIRC.Darren
February 28, 200323 yr You could fly out of fairbanks and follow this route, I usually see great aurora effects here during winter months. It will take you north to deadhorse Skirt the northern alaska coast then on to barrow, then return south to Fairbanks.FAI j115 SCC j507 BRW j123 OTZ j502 FAIOr after reaching - OTZ j117 GAL j133 ANC. if you would like to fly back to Anchorage.

February 28, 200323 yr I think the Aurora effect is terrible. I hate the fact that it sometimes appear under you.
February 28, 200323 yr Agree with F_16 Driver; seeing the Aurora below the aircraft is a bit strange. Now for a routing. Try Oslo to Los Angeles on a Great Circle track.
