March 3, 200323 yr Folks:Ahh!! The benefits of living 5 minutes from home. Run over at lunch time and had the peanut butter sandwich there, while trying some of your suggestions.Paul H's solution, resolved the problem. I changed the refresh rate of AutoSave to 10 minutes, and flew for 15 with only one hesitation. What a pleasure!Thank you everybody for your interest and help, specially you Paul. Now I can go back to the dumb questions (I read the sections of the manuals before asking), like:1) How do I make the a/c track a radial with the a/p? You know, the "NAV" switch in all the "other" a/p's?2) How do I "turn off" the HDG SEL after I used it? Say I want to turn manualy for an approach, while the a/p helps me keep the altitude and speed. I simply can't figure out how to "pull" the HDG button in the a/p.(Rob, I desperatley need your manual, get cracking! ;-))Thanks again y'all. Now I can get "down to business" :-) :-)Roberto Roberto Stopnicki Toronto, Canada
March 3, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Roberto.1) No NAV mode on the 767 (and I mean the real thing here) You'll have to use the FMC for this. Check the FMC manual on how to.2) Sorry, but again this is a no go. You either have everything or nothing. This applies to both the F/D and the A/P.Regards,Mark Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
March 4, 200323 yr Author Thx. Mark! First I thought you were kidding. I paid "all this money" for the biggest/bestest a/c, and it doesn't have a NAV button? :-eek I am just glad that it wasn't me "not getting it".I'll now hit the FMC "book" :-roll and learn "how to" (I just finished learning "how to" the DF737!! :-))Roberto Roberto Stopnicki Toronto, Canada
