TCAS Woes

Featured Replies

Lee,I LOVE your new TCAS gauge however, it does not seem to work for me. The gauge itself it fine, but since I have installed it, I keep getting sqauwk box errors like this: AppName: squawkbox.exe AppVer: 2.3.0.5 ModName: user32.dllModVer: 5.1.2600.104 Offset: 0001a126I have tried reinstalling SB and reinstalled FSUIPC 2.95. The errors come not only with PIC but with any MSFS plane. If you have any advice, anyone, I would appriciate your help. Thanks!Putput28 :-wave

No ideas. I especially cannot see how my gauge could have anything to do with Squawkbox as there is no direct communication. My gauge certainly has nothing to do with stock MSFS planes either.Uninstall the gauge and see how things go.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Whoa!Did I miss the release of Lee's TCAS gauge? I did a search back through the 767 forum and a search of the file library and came up empty. Is this still a beta test version?Waiting patiently in Ottawa.Kevin in CYOW

Lee, Again I must say that I love your gauge. It is just fantastic. I did find out the problem...well sort of. I only receive the sqauwk box errors when using SB Host module that allows you to have squawkbox in FS2002. Whenever I use the the host outside FS, I do not have any problems. Thanks again Lee!Putput28 :-wave

What version of Host SB do you have?I'm running the gauge and Host SB without any problems.

Thanks Stiffy!(Don't know how I missed that one, it's a pretty long thread). And of course, thanks to Lee.Kevin in CYOW

Blame the cold ;)DanFrozen in Ottawa

Delete Host SB from the FS Modules folder.Download the latest version of HostSb from the Avsim file library.Install the new version of Host SB that you have just downloaded.Mark

Dan,I was somewhat perplexed as to why I couldn't find it on a search and then realized today that I spelt Lee's last name wrong (Hetherington, not Heatherington) when I searched by author. Yup, my brain must be frozen. And, oh boy, up to another 25cm of snow tomorrow!Kevin in CYOW

You live in Ottawa and you are disappointed about the amount of snow?I think the success of the Senators is affecting your memory ;-)
