Problem with control surfaces

Featured Replies

Hi,I noticed a weird problem with PIC's control surfaces today. When I'm turning joystick to the right or left, control surfaces start to rockin' up and down. I also noticed, that problem occurs with keyboard commands also. So problem can't be related to joystick. I reinstalled PIC, but problem is still occuring. If somebody has some kind of idea what to do, i would be very thankful. Here's a little video clip to make more clear picture of this weird problem: http://juuso.svly.net/ohjainpinnat.avi-J

Have you installed last FSuipc version? 2.975? And Wilco PIC Patch 1.3?

Yes. If you don't have it already, click here and download the latest FSUIPC. http://www.schiratti.com/files/dowson/FSUIPC.zip Install the DLL module into your FS2002 MODULES folder. Fire up FS and bring up the taskbar {hit the Alt key on your keyboard} then open MODULES/FSUIPC. Go to the "Technical Tab" and put a check-mark for the rudder, elevator and aleron under "CONTROL SPIKE ELIMINATION". You might only need RUDDER checked so try each one until the problem is fixed.Best Wishes, Randy J. Just to add a little to Randy said. I had this happen to me, make sure you make the adjustments to FSUIPC 2.975 and then make sure you calibrate the controls via the options menu in FS2002. Center everything and make sure you get good readings.Once you get good readings, then everything should be OKCheersBob
