Overhead modification

Featured Replies

I am thinking about the possibilities to make some rearrangements of the overhead. This would just be for PERSONAL use of this outstanding panel :) . My question is wether the entire overhead is hard-coded or if is it possible to modify switch positions using this FS Panel studio tool. Can somebody help me here?

I don't think this is possible. The overhead is madeup of gauges only. It's not like the main panel with a bitmap etc but has bitmaps within the gauges and this is beyond what I can do at least.Best Wishes, Randy J. Hi Andreas, from a quick look at the panel folder, I'd say you'll have some difficulty. The background bitmap is black, so the the gauges also contain the background (gauge casing etc.). Also, there are only four gauges, i.e hydraulics, electrics, fuel and pneumatics. So, while you could move around the entire sections, you wouldn't be able to move individual switches without disassembling the gauges.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg

Ok, than I will leave this thought...Thanks anyway
