TCAS screenshots

Featured Replies

Hi,I have published some screen shots of an interesting arrival to Copenhagen (EKCH) this evening. Lee's TCAS gauge proved to be very useful! For those of you that are interested, look at the screenshots page of my site. (an internet-connection with more then 56 kbs is recommended).Thank you Lee for this great addition.Nicohttp://www.nicokaan.nl/

veeeryyy nice Nico, btw, where did you get that scenery for Funchal?(LPMA)

mooie site Nico,en 't valt wel mee met n 56k modem hoor :-)erg leuk om ff overheen te neuzen....hier in Friesland kennen ze bb internet nog niet he :-(groetjes

looking very very very nice!

Nico,I'd suggest that you contact the controller and ask what happened. We've had the discussion internally regarding what to do if you're overwhelmed with traffic, and disappearing is not one of the options!Perhaps it was a problem with PC or ASRC - or perhaps his computer went dead :-hah

Nice shots, and glad TCAS was useful. You shouldn't have been too concerned. It wasn't even a proximate target (solid blue), much less a potential threat (yellow) or threat (red).Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I liked your adventure. When I purchased the PIC 767, I thought it was simply amazing. But now look at the incredible add-ons that it has inspired. I wish my wife was amazed as I am, but then I'm not into knitting either. :-lol

Yes I know, no reason for real concern, but for an inexperienced pilot like me, flying heavy metal at that speed with traffic in front, behind and coming in from the left, and no ATC, it was still very exciting. Remember, there is no co-pilot, like in real-life. I have not yet managed to talk my wife into this hobby, except for serving coffee every now and then. ;-)Thank you for your terminology/definitions.Nico

Ok, apparently the UK server went down last night, so a lot of controllers lost their connection.
