April 9, 200323 yr HiPositive this has been covered before but does anyone else find the wind noise when the gear is extended to be way too loud? I can't remember it being that loud in real life.Any ideas on how to fix it or how to lower the noise to a more believable level?TIA
April 9, 200323 yr Yes been brought of many of times. I thought that Phil G was working on it but could be wrong. It is very annoying for sure. Best Wishes, Randy J. April 10, 200323 yr Just one of the fixes that should come to fruition in the FS9 release of 757 PIC. Well that's what I'm hoping anyway. :( 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
April 10, 200323 yr Sorry, away from my PC with FS2k2 on it....but...Isn't there a series of sliders (sound maybe) that controls environmental sounds.Tim_757(Sitting in PHX)
April 11, 200323 yr Hey Everyone...I was able to mask the sound only slightly in the last version of my sound-set. Before we jump to conclusions, though, can a real-life pilot confirm that the gear noise is too loud? I've never been in the cockpit of a 767 during landing, so I honestly couldn't say.Regards,Phil Geddes
April 11, 200323 yr I know a real world 757/767 pilot, indeed he was in the room when I selected gear down on PIC and without me asking him he told me the gear wind sound was way too high. There is a wind sound, and you can hear it but its not the only sound you can hear after you select gear down, unlike PIC .
