Hi, You have a place to fill in "default path" at the buttom.enter there only C:ProgrammeMicrosoft GamesFS2002navdataFlightPlansThen press the "import flightplan" button, and in the prompt, add the flightplan name, EDDFKEWR.rte .If it still won't do the job, check the flightplan file, and delete some empty lines from the beginning of the file (those starting with a ";"), until it works. The next version will handle those better...Ilan Jonas

I have tried all that, but there are no empty lines beginning with ";" in the .rte files. The only ones with ";" were three lines with ;C:... when I deleted the first one or the first two, the flighplan was imported, but no distances/HDG read ( a lot of "#entry"). Any suggestions?

Hi,i have done so. The flightplan now commences with the first waypoint but the problem is not resolved. The dispatcher imports all waypoints, but both lat/long and dist are missing. I still have entries as: BIBOS #VERDI #VERDI. somewhat disappointing...

You may encounter trounle if the sheet is protected:Goto tools->protection and remove sheet protection. Also try and import one of the default flightplans which came with the software, and see how it goes.Ilan Jonas

sheet protection was already removed. Which flighplans do you mean? In the 767 dispatcher folder I did not find any flightplans.

I meant those came with 767PIC cd. However try to copy this flight plan, save it as a .rte file and try to import it, see how it goes. Let me know what happens. You can also write me directly to my email if you use MSN messanger,we can try and work it out together.H,KJFK,KBOS, ,W,JFK,,0,40.631669,-73.771648,115.900002,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,COATE,,0,41.136111,-74.695556,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,LHY,J36,30,41.475777,-75.482628,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,LHY45,J36,30,41.742065,-76.422424,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,MINEO,J36,30,41.769810,-76.522385,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,SLT52,J36,30,41.882622,-76.932983,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,DKK,J36,30,42.490555,-79.274094,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,YXU30,J36,30,42.579720,-81.430832,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,GOOSS,J36,30,42.680550,-82.003891,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,ATTIX,J36,30,42.917107,-83.430473,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0W,FNT,,0,42.966049,-83.741081,0.000000,0.000000,0,0,0,0End of FlightPlan

Ilan,While working on the next revision of this excellent dispatcher, can you update the database file for KAUS, The current version has the OLD Austin-Muller Airport data. This airport is now closed and does not exist. The new aiport in Austin, Texas which still is KAUS, but is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. All runway data has changed from the old to the new.ThanksBob Johnson

Hi Bob,The answer is simple: the new version will import the data from the FMC database as stored on your computer. As long as you update your AIRAC data for PIC FMC, the dispatcher utility will be updated as well. This is already working pretty good for me, though some fine tuning is needed...Ilan Jonas

Well that's too hard to tell... I was a bit too short on time to deal with it for the last few months. All my spare time went for the establishment of a VATSIM division in Israel and for some scenery projects. However, the end is near for these two, so I hope to work on the dispatcher full(spare)time.Bottom line - still can't tell, but will try and make it fast :-)Ilan Jonas

Hi all,at the risk of looking like a dweeb, can I ask which file you all are talking about?First I had Rob v. Leest's (I think) 767 planner in excel format. There is no option to import flight plans there. So I knew that can't be it. So next I searched avsim for anything with dispatcher in it and I found something from Ben Alexander Brown. This also has no option of importing flightplans. So what file is it. After reading the replies I thought maybe that Mr. Jonas was the author, but a search for that name did not give me any dispatcher file either.Xander

Hi,The file we are talking about is an updated version of Rob Van Leest's utility. I made it along with Mr. Wagner Beskow. It is not in AVSIM library yet, cause officially it is still in beta phase. You can download it at http://www.geocities.com/dispatcher3b6/let me know if you have a problem getting it there...Ilan Jonas
