Hi Ilan,I tried to import several flightplans which followed with the original CD but simply nothing happens. I wonder if it is something with my Excel settings x(

Hello Ilan,I can't work with your program. If I try to start I get this error message:File VEdeLR3 not found. It seams that this is a help file...Any idea? Hope you or anybody else can help me.Thank youNorbert

Hi!Andreas: (if using win XP), goto control panel - regional and language settings.Under regional options, you will see your chosen language. To its right there is a "customize" button - press it. Now in this window, change "decimal symbol" to "." (instead of ","), and "digit grouping symbol" to "," (instead of ".").You may also need to change the "list seperator" to a "," (instead of ";"). Apply the new settings and give it a try (you may need to restart, or at least reopen the dispatcher). you can always change it back so don't worry.Norbert: Well, this is new to me. what windows and excel versions do you use? did you enable all required options in Excel as detailed in the readme file? you can also write me by mail if you wish.__________________________________________________________(Can't make this picture to work, still testing ;-)) | V

Ok, I will ask you some more questions:1. When you import a flightplan, do you get any data? if so, what do you see (a screenshot will help).2. Do you see any problems with the rest of the program? (such as weather not updating automaticaly, map not usable etc.)3. Did you remeber to enable macros when first loading the dispatcher? and to add the anlysis toolpack? (see "general" page for info).4. I think you already answered this, but to be on the safe side - which Excel version do you use?5. a train moving north leaves the station at 140 mph, while another train moving south leaves the station an hour later at 160 mph. Nah forget that one ;-)Waiting for your reply, you can also address me by mail if you prefer.Ilan Jonas

Is Excel included with Windows? I don't believe I have it on my computer. If not, how much is the product, I might just buy it for this, if I can find it.Thanks

No, Excel comes only with Microsoft Office.2000 and up is good for the dispatcher (I use 2000, the new one is Office XP).Ilan Jonas

Strange. Are you sure you are not using Excel 97?try to install the dispatcher again, you might have deleted something without noticing.Few days ago you said you get some data when importing flightplans - if you get nothing now a new install could fix it.other than that, you may be doing something wrong when trying to import. I suggest you describe exactly what you do so I can tell if you are doing something wrong.Waiting for your reply,Ilan Jonas
