April 26, 200323 yr Hey John, too bad I found this thread so late into it. I had the same exact problem you have. I had it with the right one. Not sure which one you had troubles with.I found out that the switch hot-key was SHIFT-F9 (I think). So I tried changing it to see if it worked. Still had the switch misteriously getting out of NAV. Then I found it. Open up the overhead and keep pressing SHIFT. Doesn't have to be any combo, just SHIFT. And see if the switch goes up (+) or down (-). Mine was going up everytime. I put in in OFF, hit SHIFT 3 times and it would end up in align. No matter what you press in combination with the SHIFT it goes. So the SHIFT-P error you experienced is not because you moved but because you hit shift. The only option for me was to disable the (+) side (in my case, might be different for you) hot key. I never use hot keys anyways. In real life either so......Anyhooo.....aircraft flies great again.Try it and let me know.Xander
April 27, 200323 yr Well, I'm happy to say your suggestion worked. I pressed shift on its own with the overhead open and noticed the IRU moving up positions. So what I did was delete the shift+F9 hotkey and all was fixed!Thank you so much Xander, I will be forever in your debt! :7John/AFG
