No SID Transitions in FMC??

Featured Replies

Hi Folks:I need some help.I have downloaded the latest data for the FMC (and confirmed that it properly got to the /fs2002/fmcwd/navdata/... folders). However, when I try to activate (in the arr/dep page) a SID for Viru Viru (SLVR, Bolivia) when I select a SID, the transitions don't show up on the FMC.I tried a couple of other airports (i.e. ksfo) and when I select a SID all the stored transitions show up without any problem.Any suggestions as to what might be happening?Thx.Roberto

[h5] This is very simple, navdata does not cover all sids or their transitions. I have the same issue with KBFI (Boeing Field). Can you imagine what amount of work it takes to cover every major airfield?[/h5][h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hi Randy:You are right it would be a monumental task. But, I just got confused because all the files needed for a complete sid (.rwy, .tr, .asd) are there with the right names, transitions, etc., so I thought that they had been programmed already.Thx.Roberto
