Hi Folks:How do you completely delete a route in the FMC?It happens when you have already programmed an entire route to go east, and your flying pal connects and says: "Hey, let's go west"...:-) Also, I have saved a flight with a route programmed in the FMC as my default start. When I start up and want to change the airport and route, although I change the departure and arrival airports, all the other details of the original route are still in the memory of the FMC.Therefore my question.Thanks as usual.Roberto

Hi In the scratch area enter the departure airport into FMC. That will clear all the info. If it doesn', shut dn all electrical and the FMC will be clr.

You could always select 'RTE2', program the route and use it as the active route. This is also a very useful feature if you're expecting bad weather at your destination with a strong possibility that you may have to divert.Cheers,Gosta.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
