Once again I am reminded why the people involved with this hobby are simply the best!!!!!! I got an e-mail from a fellow ex-Brit working for NavCda in Ottawa...following this thread and my whining story...he has offered me an AMD850 processor and MB for the cost of postage and will be putting it in the mail shorlty.Obviously, I am blown away by his generosity and kindness...it is tough to repay that kind of offer, but I will be sure to make it up to this kind person.If all goes well, I could be back up by next week sometime.Thanks to all who have contributed here...the virtual world really is better than the real world on most days :-)Rob.
