Sorry if this is an old subject, but i searched high and low for an answer and could not find one !! I am running 767pic with FS2000, sqwakbox and roger wilco. I am aslo using the latest FSUIPC version2.972....My problem is every time I try and interecpt the ILS for 06 at EHAM my fuel goes to zero, engines stop and power goes off, followed by a stall..This may happen at other airports, but EHAM is the only one so far..Any ideas would be greatfully apprecaited.... What was the route? How much fuel did you depart with? How much fuel did you have at top of decent? How much fuel did you have 1 minute before trying to intercept the ILS?What happens if you turn off the AP and land actually fly the approach?Confirm you are using FS2000.What, if any patch do you have installed for PIC?

I wonder if it is anything to do with going below Sea Level at EHAM...I seem to remember a patch or something for FS2000 EHAM.Rob.

Yep, there is a problem with EHAM. I tried to look for a webpage but couldn't find it. It happens southwest of EHAM (ILS 06.EDIT: Since NIco was kind enough to provide the correct answer I deleted my answer, which would only be confusing.Kind regards,Stephan Haas

Hi,This information is from the Website of DutchVacc:"Pilots running Squawkbox, experience heavy windshears when passing through 2500ft when they approach or depart from Amsterdam Schiphol in south- and southwestern directions. All engines fall out and the aircraft is suddenly uncontrollable. This is caused by the fact that Schiphol is located below sea level and SB doesn't handle those values correctly. To solve this problem, change the option WindTransitions, found in the General section of FSUIPC.ini (in the modules directory of FS2002) from No to Yes." Kind Regards,Nicowww.nicokaan.nl

You could just not fly there. ;0) Rotterdam is just a short hop around the block.

Yes, you can land there, but be careful, the runway is just 2200 meters... You seldomly see heavies over there. They usually divert to Brussels (Belgium), Heathrow (UK), Dusseldorf or Frankfurt (Germany). From the sky The Netherlands is just a very small peace of land, and we reclaimed part of it from the sea...;-) Nicowww.nicokaan.nl10 km NW of Rotterdam Airport
