This is as far as i got. I dumped the poskey zip into fs2002/aircraft. But when i open up the Wilco OR the poskey texture file it's empty-yep nothing in it -go fiqure. The pic 767 from Wilco works fine but of course i want Lee's file cause in outside view it brings my 1.3 duron piece of garbage to it's knees so i just fly in side and don't go into spot view---Louis Ml2488 cva2488

Okay, because I KNOW Louis, here are the instructions for the merge.INSTRUCTIONS===========1. If you have not already done so, make sure the folder that contains this README.txt has been installed as a subfolder under "FS2002aircraft". This folder was originally named "B763 PIC POSKY3", but you may rename it if you wish. However, in the directions that follow I will refer to it as "B763 PIC POSKY3".2. Copy or move the "model" and "texture" folders from a POSKY 767 aircraft folder to his folder ("B763 PIC POSKY3").3. Double-click on the "setup.bat" file in this directory. It will pop up a DOS window, copy various files, and construct the Aircraft.cfg file from PICPOSKY.cfg and the 767PIC Aircraft.cfg file already installed on your machine. It will attempt to verify that the required files are present and that this "B763 PIC POSKY3" folder is in the proper place within FS2002. Previous versions of "setup.bat" would not work correctly in Windows 98 and ME, but I believe I have corrected the problem. If, for some reason, "setup.bat" will not run correctly for you, and you are certain you have put the "B763 PIC POSKY3" folder in the correct location, you can copy files manually. From the folder "FS2002aircraft767 PIC Wilco Publishing", copy the following four files: 767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishing.air 767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishing_notes.txt 767PIC_CHECK.txt 767PIC_REF.txt Aircraft.cfg to the "B763 PIC POSKY3" folder. Rename Aircraft.cfg to Wilco.cfg. In a DOS or command window, CD to the "B763 PIC POSKY3" folder and run ".cfgmerge PICPOSKY.cfg Wilco.cfg > Aircraft.cfg". The cfgmerge executable will merge the two .cfg files to produce the Aircraft.cfg. From the "B763 PIC POSKY3" folder, copy the two files 763v3_beacons.fx 763v3_strobes.fx to the "FS2002effects" folder.4. At this point, the file structure should look something like this: + FS2002 + aircraft - 767 PIC Wilco Publishing + B763 PIC POSKY3 <-- rename this if using more than 1 + Model <-- copied here by you Model.cfg 763*.mdl <-- whatever the .mdl is called + Panel panel.cfg + Sound sound.cfg + Texture <-- copied here by you 763rearintake.bmp : your_face2_t.bmp 767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishing.air 767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishing_notes.txt 767PIC_CHECK.txt 767PIC_REF.txt 763v3_beacons.fx 763v3_strobes.fx Aircraft.cfg <-- edited by you setup.bat + effects 763v3_beacons.fx <-- installed by setup.bat 763v3_strobes.fx <-- installed by setup.bat :5. You should edit the following lines near the top of the Aircraft.cfg file contained in "B763 PIC POSKY3" to set the airline or livery name you desire: title=763 PIC/POSKY3 Airline atc_airline=AIRLINE atc_id=N1234 atc_flight_number=1234 ui_variation=PIC/POSKY3 Airline Note that title= must be distinct from all other aircraft or else not all will show up in the FS2002 aircraft selection menu. If you do not edit the Aircraft.cfg file, your aircraft will show up in FS2002's aircraft selection menu as follows: Manufacturer: Boeing Type: 767-300ER Variation: PIC/POSKY3 AirlineADVANCED========This is completely optional and not for the weak of heart. If you are comfortable editing Aircraft.cfg files and adding multipletextures and model, you can incorporate several POSKY aircraft in onefolder. For example, here would be a setup containing both UnitedAirlines and British Airways 767-300s: + FS2002 + aircraft - 767 PIC Wilco Publishing + B763 PIC POSKY3 + Model.UAL Model.cfg 763_pw_t1d2b23.mdl + Model.AAL Model.cfg 763_ge_t1d1b23.mdl : + Panel panel.cfg + Sound sound.cfg + Texture.UAL : + Texture.BAW : Aircraft.cfg :In the Aircraft.cfg file you would have two aircraft entries such as:[flightsim.0]title=763 PIC/POSKY3 United Airlinessim=767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishingmodel=UALpanel=sound=texture=UALkb_check_lists=767PIC_CHECKkb_reference=767PIC_REFatc_id=N123UAatc_airline=UNITEDatc_flight_number=332atc_heavy=1visual_damage=1ui_manufacturer=Boeingui_type=767-300ERui_variation=PIC/POSKY3 United Airlinesdescription=767 Pilot in Command[flightsim.1]title=763 PIC/POSKY3 American Airlinessim=767 Pilot in Command Wilco Publishingmodel=AALpanel=sound=texture=AALkb_check_lists=767PIC_CHECKkb_reference=767PIC_REFatc_id=G1234atc_airline=AMERICANatc_flight_number=332atc_heavy=1visual_damage=1ui_manufacturer=Boeingui_type=767-300ERui_variation=PIC/POSKY3 American Airlinesdescription=767 Pilot in CommandDS CVA3339 / UKD149System: Attlon 900 McW Hamster/Gerbilized Quantum Accessible 55Gig Iodized-Encrusted Four-poster with Mega-brill Farzenhuuven http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
