July 20, 200322 yr Hi guys,I've had this problem with 767PIC's overhead already for a while. The numbers on the IRS and fuel panels seem to be too big so that they don't fit to their windows. Chech this screenshot and you'll know what I mean.http://mikael.svil.net/overhead.jpgDoes anyone of you have an idea of how to solve this problem?Best regards,

http://mikael.svly.net/mikael.gif

fisd.fsnordic.net]
[/TABLE
July 20, 200322 yr Hi Miku, well this occures only if you have a special resolution selected in FS2004. Once I was running FS in a resolution of 1152x864 and I had exactly the same problem. You can solve this issue by changing your FS resolution. Try 1280x1024 if you want high res otherwise you have to take 1024x768 which doesn
July 20, 200322 yr Having the same "problem" myself.Usually just take the panel and drag it out a bitto a bigger size, shuld do the trick.
July 20, 200322 yr Thank you Matthias! I changed to 1280x1024 resolution and this solved the problem. I also noted that the whole panel became much much more clearer and easier to read when I changed the resolution. Once again PIC just got even better!
July 21, 200322 yr Hehe, I was actually just testing the new IVSI/TCAS gauge at the same time. I wanted to see that it really interacts with the IRUs. ;-)Btw. the TCAS gauge is absolutely fantastic! Thank you very much Lee!
July 21, 200322 yr Greetings,Doesn't 1280x1024 make the panel slightly out of proportion? I thought that you should only be using resolutions that when divided by each other come out to be 1.33333(repeat)?1024/768=13333(repeat)1280/1024=1.251280/960=13333(repeat)So, shouldn't we be using 1280x960?Thanks!P
July 21, 200322 yr No if you're using a laptop. My Sony VAIO has 1200x900, 1280x960, 1280x1024, 1360x1020, 1400x1050 and 1520x1140 "unstandard" resolutions.I keep using 1600x1200, as is the native screen resolution of the LCD panel, and doesn't look "zoomed".RegardsMartin
July 21, 200322 yr Peter,When Steve Drabek was at my home earlier this summer, he noted that my 1280/1024 was not the correct resolution but after looking at the panel for a while he agreed that it did look very good. We talked about changing it but 1280/1024 was actually much better on my system than the alternative 1280/960. It really comes down to monitors and personal preference more than anything else. Individual popup windows like the overhead can be resized to meet the need and the final appearance and suitable performance is all that matters.Mike
July 21, 200322 yr Yea, I was just thinking that the standard aspect ration of 3:1 would be right, but yea, in the end it's obviously what works best :)Thanks to both!P
